Role and Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing advertising strategies for market positioning of both existing and new health plan products
  • Ensure advertising campaigns reflect data-driven insights, market dynamics, strategic enterprise goals, consumer research and brand
  • Develop content for acquisition pages of corporate website
  • Direct agencies in the creative development of advertising campaign elements; serving as primary contact and approver
  • Oversee specific projects as directed by Manager and /or Director
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining portfolios of multi-market, multi-product printed sales collateral, including content creation, approval, design, production and distribution
  • Ensure all printed materials and advertising are accurate and meet rigorous internal, state and federal regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Develop schedules and timelines for multiple product lines and ensure all advertising and sales materials are launched on schedule
  • Lead white space strategy to support strategic priorities of enterprise and market leadership by identifying and supporting creative opportunities to drive member acquisition and brand awareness
  • Identify gaps and develop new processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, meet deadlines and achieve membership goals
  • Utilizing consultative methods, develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Provide training and guidance on department processes and procedures to new team members
  • Create and implement process improvement efforts
  • Perform any other job related instructions as requested


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or related field or equivalent work experience is required
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing/communications; healthcare marketing experience is preferred
  • 3 years of professional writing experience preferred

Required Competencies/Knowledge/Skills:

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage numerous projects in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in  Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using visual software including PowerPoint
  • Strong project management and process skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Develop subject matter expertize in the state, federal and internal regulations that govern insurance advertising activities across multiple products and markets
  • Working knowledge of WordPress CMS, CRM, UX / UI, web design, SEO, SEM preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and with diverse teams in a matrix environment
  • Team and customer oriented
  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously

  • General office environment; required to sit/stand for long periods of time

We are looking for a hardworking Public Relations Intern to support day-to-day operations in our Marketing department and help us manage the relationship with a PR Agency in the US.

This role will initially be on a temporary 3 month contract, with a possibility for a permanent opportunity to arise. We are looking for someone to start with us on the 1st of September 2020.

What you will be doing as our PR...

  • Provide assistance with the execution of the company’s US PR strategy
  • Provide strategic input and feedback on PR initiatives
  • Suggest innovative ideas for engaging content
  • Build long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders (PR Agency)
  • Assist in the management of content across social media platforms and websites
  • Write media announcements and press releases
  • Manage the relationship with the US based PR Agency
  • Provide assistance in scheduling and coordinating of different events
  • Conduct research and perform market analysis
  • Complete administrative duties

You will definitely need:

  • Passion and a true interest in the PR industry
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Applicable knowledge of copywriting and editing
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral due to only remote work)
  • Experience with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
  • Aptitude in presentation and public speaking
  • Current enrolment or recently graduated in a BSc/BA/MBA/MSc in PR, communications, journalism or similar relevant field
  • Attention to details

You will be perfect if you have:

  • A homebase in the US (preferably Ohio)
  • Know-how in website management to update press clippings
  • Prior work experience with PR agencies
  • Have an interest in the tech start-up world

In your first 3 months, you will work on:
