Description

Role and Responsibility:

  • Support social communication by creating and maintaining high quality social posts and responses that represent the best interests of CareSource
  • Moderate and respond to the social community across various platforms with speed and accuracy ensuring responses are provided within 1 hour during business hours and high-priority issues are covered on weekends and holidays
  • Support the formation of social communications strategies that align with the needs of the business, employees, legislators, providers, and members by providing insights from the social community
  • Coordinate across the organization to gain input on planned content calendar and moderation strategies ensuring the needs of the business are represented
  • Measure and analyze performance monthly providing actionable insights for improvement and continued success
  • Meet all regulatory and accreditation requirements in materials created and submit for approvals per department policies
  • Ensure on-time production of materials and within budget
  • Supports work in department as needed
  • Perform any other job related instructions, as requested

 

Requirements

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelors or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional social media administration is required
  • Health care experience preferred
  • Experience with Sprout preferred

Required Competencies / Knowledge / Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience administering various social media platforms
  • Oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of social media practices and trends, preferably in a health care context
  • Cross-functional team skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Time management skills
  • Decision making/problem solving

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit/stand for long periods of time
