The concept of feeling like an imposter - called Imposter Phenomenon - has invaded popular culture. Imposter Phenomenon is associated with intense self-doubt, anxiety, and worry, and can limit your potential both professionally and personally. In this interactive education session, our speakers will discuss the origins of imposter syndrome, the role of institutionalized sexism and racism in perpetuating the phenomenon, and how individuals can overcome and cope when they experience imposter phenomenon. Participants will have an opportunity to share their own experiences and develop strategies to reduce their experience of imposter phenomenon.
