Are you on the top of your PR game? I thought so! Now is the time to begin preparation for the 2019 PRisms!

Maybe you’ve had some doubts. You lost a key member of your team. A project outcome didn’t go your way. Yet even with your back up against the wall and time running out – you found the way.

You know you’ve done outstanding work. Let the world know it too. Be proud and be confident.

And let others know that you truly are on the “Top of your (PR) Game.”

PRism Awards Evening

  • 5:30 - 6:15pm - Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres
  • 6:15 - Buffet opens
  • 7:00 - Program

The PRism is our region’s PR highest honor. It recognizes excellence in our craft and the creativity, planning and enthusiasm necessary to build an outstanding example of PR success. It’s a big stage that welcomes all players: profit and not-for-profit, large agencies and small teams, marketing campaigns and media to internal communications. Show us how you made raving fans out of your publics in sales, healthcare, tourism, education or entertainment. The end zone is waiting for your victory dance, but you can never cross the goal line if you don’t enter.

The Dayton Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) will again honor outstanding local PR practitioners at the annual PRism Awards Ceremony, to be held Thursday, May 9 at The Dayton Club. The competition is open to both PRSA members and non-members who work or live in the Dayton area. Entry deadline is Friday, March 22 and late entry deadline is Friday, March 29. The chapter will award both PRisms and Awards of Merit, and one entry will be honored as the Best in Show. We’ll also recognize special PR leaders in three categories: Communicator of the Year, Up and Comer of the Year, and the Media Friend of the Year.

A panel of PR professionals from a sister PRSA chapter will judge the entries. Eligible projects must have been completed in 2018 and demonstrate research, planning, execution, results and support materials. Winners will be selected in the following categories:

  • Reputation management
  • Media Relations
  • Investor/Stakeholder Relations
  • Special Events and Observances
  • Internal Communications
