Ashley Bethard | Digital Manager,

Ashley Bethard is the Digital Manager of and Food and Entertainment content at Cox Media Group Ohio. She recently was named a Newspaper Association of America’s “30 Under 30,” which honors young industry leaders in the newspaper business. She’s credited as the driving force behind, where she created new processes to generate content and used marketing tactics to target the 18-34 year-old demographic. She holds an MFA (’10) and BA (’08) from Ashland University.





Tristan Navera | Senior Reporter, Dayton Business Journal

Tristan is the senior reporter at the Dayton Business Journal, focused on business and development news in the Miami Valley. A graduate of Springboro High School, then Ohio University, he has worked at the business journal for three and a half years after stints as a freelance writer and covering politics for the Columbus Dispatch. Areas of interest include downtown Dayton, economic development, education, health care and technology.







Dan Edwards | WGTZ

Dan Edwards is the owner of DJ Edwards Group LLC. A multi-faceted entertainment and media relations company specializing in private and corporate functions as well as media training, crisis prevention and management.

In addition, Dan is a highly sought after professional development speaker with his exclusive body data training program that promotes personal and professional growth focusing on proven body language skills.

He is a certified graduate of the prestigious Body Language Institute of Washington D.C.

Dan is also a professor at the University of Dayton teaching tele-communication students media presentation skills as well as digital radio and internet production.

Dan is currently the morning personality on Dayton radio station the New Soft Rock 92.9 WGTZ heard weekday mornings from 6-10. Before that, this 35 year broadcast veteran was an Emmy award winning TV reporter, anchor and photo-journalist at WDTN and WHIO. 

His professional travels have taken him all over the world but he is proud to call the Dayton region home with his wife of 30 years Cynthia and their two adult children Daniel and Kaitlyn.  




Ron Rollins | Digital Content Director, Cox Media Group

Ron Rollins is the director of digital content for Cox Media Group Ohio and the Dayton Daily News, overseeing the teams that cover sports, arts and entertainment, food and dining and the site. He’s also editor of the Ideas &  Voices opinion pages for the DDN and its sister papers in Springfield and Butler County. He is the host of “Miami Valley Voices,” which airsSunday mornings on WHIO AM-FM. He’s served previously as managing editor for content, features editor, arts and entertainment editor and assistant metro editor, and as editor of Cox’s papers in Butler and Warren counties. He’s edited four books for Cox Media Group, which he joined in 1986. His wife, Amy, also works for the company as a reporter for the SkyWrighter, the base newspaper at Wright-Patterson AFB. They live in Kettering.
