Local Professionals to be Honored at Dayton Area Chapter of PRSA PRism Award Banquet

DAYTON, OH: The Dayton Area Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is pleased to announce the 2018 winners of individual PRism Award winners for excellence in the field of communications. 

The 2018 recipients include:

  • Emily Grunder, communications specialist at CareSource, is the Young Professional of the Year.

  • Jamie Kenny, owner and principal at Kenny Consulting Group, is the Communications Professional of the Year.

  • Kevin Roach, news director at WRGT/WKEF TV Dayton, is the Media Friend of the Year.

  • Debbie Feldman, president and CEO at Dayton Children’s Hospital, is the Newsmaker of the Year.

 “Dayton has a deep pool of talented professionals at every stage of the career spectrum. Collectively, this year’s honorees represent some of the strongest companies in our region. Individually, they are the behind the scenes doers that keep these brands at the forefront of their industries,” said PRSA Dayton area President Erin Prokes. “We’re incredibly excited to celebrate their accomplishments at the awards ceremony this year.”

The four individual award recipients will join multiple award winners in eight categories of public relations practice at the 2018 PRism Awards Ceremony.  The awards highlight the achievements of public relations professionals throughout the Dayton area.

Awards will be presented by the Dayton Area Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America at the 2018 PRism Award Banquet, which will take place on May 3 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at The Steam Plant (617 E 3rd St, Dayton, OH 45402) in downtown Dayton.
